In addition to the result, NTA will publish the category-wise cut-off marks, percentile ranks, and the names of All India toppers in the merit list. To check their results, students must have their NEET admit cards ready. They will need to use their roll numbers or unique ID numbers mentioned on the hall ticket. It is important to cross-verify the scorecard with the admit card to ensure accurate details, including the exam center.

The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, will receive the All India Rank (AIR) information from NTA. The Ministry of Health will oversee the counseling process for successful candidates.

This year, more than 20 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET UG examination. The exam took place on May 7, 2023, at various centers nationwide. The provisional answer key was released on June 4, and objections against it could be raised until June 6, 2023.

Qualifying NEET opens doors for undergraduate courses in medical, dental, nursing, and Ayush fields. Ayush course counseling will be conducted separately.

To pass the exam, students must achieve a minimum percentile score of 50. However, for candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes, the minimum required percentile is 40. As for candidates with benchmark disabilities, the minimum percentiles are 45 for the general category and 40 for SC, ST, and OBC categories. The counseling procedure will be conducted in multiple stages to allocate 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85% of state quota seats for admissions into various medical courses.
